The Ventura County Arts Council, red carpet event, 'Art Stars
Awards', Reception & Fundraiser. Honored finalist, Parmlee Gomez- Artist In Community Service Award. Devoted to Ventura's
community of artists, she focuses her energies to help the Bell Arts Factory with paint banners, murals and organizing a reception
for the Ventura Music Festival's Violin Exhibition.

The 9th. International Collage Exhibition & Exchange, A selling
exhibition will be on the Net allowing the world-wide audience the chance to buy these collages. Artists each make 13
collages, size 8" x 10" (20cm x 26cm), and send them to New Plymouth, New Zealand.

Municipal Art Collection
The Muncipal Art Acquisition Committee
A sub-committee of the Public Art Commission, oversees
the purchase of works in a variety of artistic media. The City Council established the Municipal Art Acquisition Program to
document the history of visual art in Ventura, California through the annual purchase of important works of art created by
area artists.The collection provides increased access to art of the highest quality and of distinctive merit through its display
in the areas of City Hall.
Although a multi-media artist, Parmlee Gomez maintains
a special connection to drawing. She says, "For me the true experience of creative expression has always been drawing;
it's a preliminary to what is coming, it's immediate and more direct, which pushes me forward". Gomez designed
the first "Dancin' in the Street" poster for the City of Ventura and a commemorative poster for the dedication of the Ventura
Pier. Her artworks can be found in numerous public and private collections. In addition to the many exhibitions of her work,
her original drawings have been recognized by the World Business Academy, Year in Perspective, which published thirty of her
drawings.

Boulder County Fair
Stitchin' time- Quilters show off creativity at fair contest. A kaleidoscope
ot colors, materials & textures all sewn together with precision and care. 'The Time Seekers', First Place, Boulder
County Fair & Livestock Show - Longmont, Colorado. "a quilt that looked as though it were made of hundreds of brightly
colored pieces, all of which were actually painted on. The quilter also used several different stitching patterns to complement
the design." Designed & Painted by sister, Parmlee Gomez (California), quilted by sister, Cynthia Morgan (Colorado).

Fandango in Santa Paula De Colores Art Group
Parmlee Gomez, a multi-media artist, she is influenced by the traditional
customs & foklore style of the Spanish culture. The festive colors throughout the assemblages and collages, show enlightenment
of childhood fellowship and a rich reminder of childhood treasures. Exhibiting at the 12th Annual DE COLORES ART
SHOW, Santa Paula's California Oil Museum. An important inspiration for founder, Xavier Montes, for the DE COLORES ART SHOW
(art, music, dance), is the work of Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta, leaders in the farm worker civil rights movement. Xavier
seeks to honor their commitment to human dignity, to recognize and celebrate this truth.
